Oh the magical ultrasound wand!

Boy, it's been all of two minutes-ish since my last post!

OK, on to pre-conception, etc. etc.

We kind of started trying (or started the lack of trying NOT ) to get pregnant after the honeymoon. My goal was to have kids at 27 and 30, and Igor was ok with that. :) I knew I couldn't handle pregnancy during all the wedding planning craze, so after my birthday seemed the logical choice. Well, it didn't happen the first month. I was cool with that. My thought was, we'll see what happens the first month, and if it doesn't, well, I'll read up on it.

In comes "What to Expect Before You're Expecting". I read up on all about tracking BBTs, cervical mucus, ovulation, pre-conception health, etc. etc. and I tried my best to do all that jazz for the next couple weeks. I even visited the dentist (and got Igor to as well!), and went for a pre-conception appointment (10/13/09, er... today?). During this appointment, I was intimately acquainted with the ultrasound wand, and for the first time got to see my lady parts from the inside. Anyway, the doc said I looked good and there was no reason I should have any problems becoming pregnant. He told me, to my surprise, that I had recently ovulated within the past couple days.

Stay tuned...
